Types of Visa Given in the UAE

Tourist visa

Retirement visa

If you are a retired resident in the UAE who is at least 55 years old, you may apply for the retirement visa. It allows holders to stay in the UAE for five years and renew the visa thereafter provided that the eligibility criteria are met. Patient entry permit

A patient who seeks treatment in one of the hospitals or medical establishments in the UAE can ask for a patient entry permit. GCC resident visa

If you are a citizen of one of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region, then you can be eligible for the GCC resident visa. Citizens of Kuwait, Oman, and Saudi Arabia are eligible for an eVisa for one month.

eVisa is named as eVisa because GCC citizens apply for this visa online. They will then be able to receive their visa upon arriving in the UAE.

Residency visa

In the aim to attract more foreign investors, the UAE has recently announced the introduction of a 10-year residency visa.
